This place is exactly as advertised. It would easily accommodate two couples, and was luxurious for just me. Host is very communicative. Location worked out great for my downtown stay, easy walk to Hoyt Sherman Place. I also highly recommend the nearby Home Grown for breakfast/brunch/lunch and the Royal Mile for dinner and drinks. Couldn't have worked out better. Thanks! If I'm ever in Des Moines again, I will stay here.

Dan is the best host- we've stayed at 4 different units of his in the downtown DM area- and he always responds quickly. Plenty of all the necessities in the kitchen and bathrooms. Always enjoy our stay.
